Your treatment – monitored every week
With DentalMonitoring, we use AI-supported software to keep track of the progress of your orthodontic treatment even between practice visits.
To do this, you create short photo scans of your teeth at regular intervals using your own smartphone and submit them via an app. The software automatically analyzes these images and checks whether your teeth are moving as planned.
This allows us to detect early on whether everything is going according to plan or whether we need to intervene—without you having to come into the practice every time.

1. Scanbox & App
You receive your personal ScanBox from us at the practice and download the DentalMonitoring app to your smartphone. We then explain the entire scanning process to you in detail.
2. Weekly scans
Once a week—or more often if needed—you use your smartphone to create short, app-guided photo scans of your teeth. The app shows you step by step how to hold your smartphone and which images are required. This makes the scan simple, quick to complete, and easy to integrate into everyday life.
3. AI analysis
The AI detects:
- Is the aligner fitting correctly?
- Are the teeth moving as planned?
- Is there inflammation, caries, or a hygiene-related change?
4. Real-time feedback
The AI informs you directly, e.g.:
- “Continue wearing the aligner for 2 more days.”
- “Everything is OK – proceed to the next step.”
5. Alerts to us
If something does not proceed as intended, we automatically receive a notification and can respond immediately.
